| The painting conjures up special
memories of my mother. I remember as a small boy listening to my
mother discuss the painting with her cousin Connie, who was a gifted artist.
Mother was attempting to learn from Connie how to highlight the man's face.
In my opinion, this is the best piece of art my mother produced.
Happily, it hangs in my home. I hope it becomes a family heirloom.
