Franklin Caldwell (b. 8-17-1903; d.1-11-1962.) Aunt Sallie was the sister of
John McCamy Caldwell and was Mary Ella's sister-in-law. Aunt Sally married
Monte Cartez Smith 1-3-1908. A son born in 1911 died at 3 days. A son,
Thomas Franklin Smith (b.12-1-1913) married Ruth May Helms (10-11-1942.)
They had no children.

12-27-1857; d. ?) Uncle Wallace, 4 years older than his brother, John McCamy
Caldwell, moved to Detroit, Mich. and Florida. He had 3 sons -
1)Thomas Caldwell( oldest son - d. in Tenn. - a wife but no children
2)Wallace W. Caldwell-lived in Sparr, Fla with wife Margaret & 2 daughters
3) Calvin Caldwell-never married - a seaman who lived in Michigan.)

Shannon(b.11-29-1865 in Mecklenburg Co., N. C.) He was a bridge
builder in Daize, Arkansas & was Mary Ella Shannon Caldwell's brother. |

| Robert Newton
Shannon(b.12-14-1875; d.3-1907). He lived with Lena Shaw on Seagle
Ave. and she put in an orphanage up toward High Point - Barium Springs.
This was Mary Ella Shannon Caldwell's brother. He married Estelle
Hunnicutt 1-15-1906 & had no children. He got electrocuted on a phone
pole working for Bell Telephone in Charlotte. Grave marker at Pleasant
Plains: "Weep not loved ones for me for I am waiting in glory for thee." |
