| The biggest news was the
birth of Dana Claire, our first granddaughter. It is hard for me to
believe that another member of the family has arrived in 2000. I
wonder what Dan's family would think? Click

| Mary Dana celebrated her
30th birthday on October 29th. What a joy for us to be with her on
this special day. |

| Dan went to New York City
at the beginning of November with a group from UNCC. The purpose was
to explain the "ins and outs" of living here to folks who will
be relocating to North Carolina. |

Dan's hotel room. The Chrysler Building is in the foreground and the
Empire State Building beyond. New York City is quite a place. |
