| Dan and Mary Lynn traveled to Joe's
and Whitney's house to have a pre-Thanksgiving meal. It was a feast!

| On their return trip Dan and Mary Lynn
visited the Presbyterian Church graveyard in Pine Hall where Mary Lynn's maternal
grandfather Ashburn is buried. We also drove to house where he lived. It
is a ruin.

| Mary Dana, Mike, and Dan came to the
house for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time, and a special
visitor, Lynn, arrived to see Dan.

| On December 5th, Charlotte experienced
a major ice storm. This picture does not convey the full extent of the
consequences. Over one million people lost power in the two Carolinas.
