Dan had a wonderful trip to Linda and Steve's home in the
Seattle area. It is a well-suited location for the family. A
walking trail network extends behind the house, connecting it with parks and
other amenities in town. You can certainly see evidence that children
live here.
We visited Fort Casey, a facility at the mouth of Puget
Sound. Built in the 1890s, it was never used. We had a good time
looking over this historic site before we rode the ferry across to Fort Townshend.
Jeffrey and Dan had a good time playing chess.
Jeffrey is a very aggressive player and therefore prefers to play with
white.
Dan asked Adam to stand beside a plaque at the location
of Fort Townsend. The fort was abandoned in the late 1800s.
Notice the flashlight that Adam is holding. He wanted to make sure
that he saw everything.
