| Dan had a wonderful trip to Linda and Steve's home in the Seattle area. It is a well-suited location for the family. A walking trail network extends behind the house, connecting it with parks and other amenities in town. You can certainly see evidence that children live here. |  |
| We visited Fort Casey, a facility at the mouth of Puget Sound. Built in the 1890s, it was never used. We had a good time looking over this historic site before we rode the ferry across to Fort Townshend. |  |
| Jeffrey and Dan had a good time playing chess. Jeffrey is a very aggressive player and therefore prefers to play with white. |
