Volunteers have loyally operated Streetcar 85 since the line between Tremont Ave. and Stonewall St. opened in August 1996. That era is coming to and end. Charlotte Area Transit will take over trolley service when the line to uptown opens, hopefully in February. Thanks to all the volunteers who have been so faithful over the years. |

| Mary Lynn and Dan had a wonderful day in Winston-Salem visiting friends and family. A highlight was meeting Tom Shaver, who was one of Dan's aunts grandchildren. He has taught for many years in a private school. |
