This is the main street in Newago, Michigan. My grandfather listed Newago as his birthplace, but we believe that is where his adopted parents lived at the time he was adopted. My grandfather spent the first 13 or 14 years of his life here. It was a lumbering town on the banks of the Muskegon River. Click here for more information about my grandfather's background. |
